Veterinary Consent & Referral

Your dog's safety is my top priority. As a professional practitioner, I work in accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966.

Why do I need this?

It ensures that I am fully aware of your dog's medical history, medication, and any conditions that might affect treatment. It allows me to work with your vet to provide the best possible care.

The Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 requires veterinary consent prior to treating any animal with clinical massage therapy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will my vet charge for this?

Most vets are happy to sign this free of charge as it supports your dog's welfare. However, some practices may have a small policy fee.

My dog is just old, do I still need it?

Yes. "Slowing down" is often a sign of underlying pain (like Arthritis) which must be managed correctly.
